About Us
About ZOE Academy
The education arm of The ZOE Agency. We exist to close the generational wealth gap in underserved communities through scripture-grounded financial education, life insurance, and community.
“A good person leaves an inheritance for their children’s children.” (Proverbs 13:22)
What is The ZOE Academy? The ZOE Academy is the education arm of The ZOE Agency, a life insurance brokerage and financial literacy organization. We close the generational wealth gap by equipping families with financial protection, training agents in a scripture-grounded framework, and serving business owners with coverage built on Biblical stewardship. The name ZOE comes from the Greek word for “life” (John 10:10).

Our Story
Why Does The ZOE Agency Exist?
The ZOE Agency exists because the generational wealth gap is not an accident. It is the result of communities being excluded from financial tools, education, and conversations that other communities have had access to for centuries.
Life insurance was not invented by Wall Street. It was founded by the Church. In 1759, Presbyterian ministers created the Corporation for Relief of Poor and Distressed Widows and Children of Presbyterian Ministers. They understood that James 1:27 required a system, not just good intentions.
Hosea 4:6 says “my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” That destruction is not abstract. It is families who lose homes, drain savings, and start over from zero because no one taught them what was available.
The ZOE Agency was founded to continue that 1759 mission. We train agents who serve from calling rather than quota. We teach families the financial truths they were never given. We serve business owners with protection rooted in stewardship, not sales.
The name ZOE comes from the Greek word for life. Jesus used it in John 10:10:
“I have come to give you ZOE – everything in abundance, more than you expect – life in its fullness until you overflow.” John 10:10 Paraphrased
Knowledge first. Protection follows. That is the mission. That is why the ZOE Academy exists.
1759
Presbyterian ministers create the first Life Insurance fund in America to protect widows and children, fulfilling James 1:27.
The Mission Continues
For over 265 years, life insurance has been one of the most direct tools for building and transferring generational wealth.

Who We Serve
Three Audiences. One Mission.
Every path at the ZOE Academy is grounded in scripture and designed to close the generational wealth gap.
For Families
Financial Protection
Your season of income is your window. We equip families with life insurance education, coverage guidance, and the financial truths they were never given. Joseph used seven years of abundance to sustain a nation. A life insurance policy does the same for your family.
For Agent Recruits
Covenant Calling
This is not a sales job. It is a calling. Every ZOE Agency agent is trained in a scripture-grounded framework built for underserved communities. We train people who want to protect families, not chase commissions.
For Business Owners
Business Stewardship
You built something that employs people and serves your community. We help business owners with key person coverage, buy-sell agreements, and executive benefit planning so the business survives beyond the founder.
1759
The Church Built This. We Continue the Work.
Life insurance in America was not invented by Wall Street. It was founded by Presbyterian ministers in 1759 who created the Corporation for Relief of Poor and Distressed Widows and Children of Presbyterian Ministers.
They understood that James 1:27 – “look after orphans and widows in their distress” – required a system. Not just good intentions. The Church built it anyway.
“Religion that God accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress.” (James 1:27)

Our Foundation
The Six Pillars of ZOE Academy
Every lesson, resource, and conversation at the ZOE Academy is built on six Biblical principles. These are not slogans. They are the foundation of everything we teach.
PILLAR I
Provision
Providing for your household is not optional. It is a faith statement. The person who does not provide for their own family has denied the faith.
1 Timothy 5:8
PILLAR II
Legacy
A good person leaves an inheritance for their children’s children. Not their children. Their children’s children. Two generations forward.
Proverbs 13:22
PILLAR III
Prudence
The wise see danger and take refuge. The simple keep going and pay the penalty. Protection is not paranoia. It is wisdom acted on before the crisis arrives.
Proverbs 22:3
PILLAR IV
Responsibility
Your absence should not become someone else’s crisis. Religion that God accepts as pure is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress.
James 1:27
PILLAR V
Knowledge
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. That destruction is not abstract. It is families who lose everything because no one taught them what was available.
Hosea 4:6
PILLAR VI
Agency
She does not wait to be provided for. She is the provision. She considers a field and buys it. From her earnings, she plants a vineyard.
Proverbs 31:16
