You were a child watching adults do the math out loud and come up short.
The second job. The third one when the second was not enough. The thin Christmas where everybody pretended it was full. The empty seat at the school play. The lights almost going off twice in one year. The fridge that was almost full. The car your mother kept running on prayer and praise.
Nobody asked you if you wanted to grow up early. You just did. You became the responsible one. The one who translated for grown folks. The one who read the bills out loud. The one who learned to want less so the room could breathe.

Gene is the unit of inheritance. What gets passed down. What you carry from the bloodline whether you asked for it or not.
Zoe is the Greek word for life in its fullness. The kind of life Jesus came to give. Not survival. Not the watered-down version. The whole thing.
Gene Zoe is inherited life. The Word and the wealth knowledge that get passed down when somebody in the bloodline finally learns it and refuses to keep it to themselves.
Most bloodlines do not have it yet. Yours might be one of them. That ends with you, or it does not end at all.
Joseph was seventeen when his brothers sold him off. He landed in a foreign country with nothing in his hand and no one waiting for him.
By thirty he was running the economy of the most powerful nation on earth. He read the warning seven years before the famine arrived and told the king to start storing.
When his family showed up starving, he had enough stored to feed all of them. And the country. And several countries around. He told his brothers, the same ones who sold him: God sent me ahead of you to preserve life.
That is who you are. Sent ahead. Not punished. Not abandoned. Positioned.
The famine in your bloodline is financial ignorance. It has been running for generations. Somebody has to be the one who reads it early and starts storing.

The thief is not abstract. He works through ignorance, absence, and exhaustion. He worked it on the generation that raised your parents. He worked it on the generation that raised you. If nobody breaks the pattern, he will work it on the generation you raise.
The Word says he came to steal, slaughter, and destroy. He stole time from your parents. He slaughtered the rest they should have had. He has been destroying bloodlines through what was never taught.
You have a choice your parents may never have been given. You can be the one who learns what they were never taught and brings it back to the family.
If not you, who?
